Description

This is a tool used during set-up to get the swash plate perfectly level thruoghout the entire collective range. To use this tool you first pop off all four links on the inner ring of the swash plate. Next you remove the upper jesus bolt, then remove the complete head and mixing base. You will be left with the bare main shaft and swash plate. At this point you are ready to install the swash tool. You simply slip the swash tool over the main shaft and line up the feet of the swash tool with the arms on the outer ring of the swash plate. From this point you can adjust the links/sub trim to get the swash perfectly level, making sure the tool is contacting all of the arms on the outer ring of the swash plate at the same time. Once you have the swash level at center stick, you check for interaction by rasing and lowering the swash with the tool installed. You can then use a mix in your radio to correct the interaction. After this process is complete you will have a swash that stays level throughout the entire collective range making for an interaction free set up.
